Four Beauty Shortlist Awards for The Rose Tree – and a Thank You

This weekend brought some very happy news.

The Rose Tree has won four awards in this year’s Beauty Shortlist Awards, and I’m still slightly in that strange place between excitement and disbelief.

Of course, we all love a shiny gold sticker. But for me, awards mean something deeper than that.

They are a reminder that the way we choose to make skincare — carefully, thoughtfully, with beautiful botanical ingredients and real skin in mind — really does make a difference.

Because the truth is, skin changes as we get older.

It becomes drier.
More sensitive.
Sometimes unpredictable as hormones shift.

And many women come to me after trying countless products that promised the world but left their skin feeling worse rather than better.

From the beginning, my goal with The Rose Tree has simply been to create skincare that feels kind to the skin.

No harsh actives.
No chasing “anti-ageing” miracles.
Just nourishing plant oils, gentle formulations and ingredients chosen because they genuinely support the skin barrier.

The Beauty Shortlist Awards are widely respected in the natural beauty world because products are judged independently and without sponsorship. So recognition like this is incredibly meaningful — especially for a small brand making products slowly and thoughtfully here in Devon.

What Matters Most

Over the last ten years, The Rose Tree has now received over 70 industry awards.

But if I’m honest, what matters most are the messages I receive from women telling me their skin finally feels comfortable again.

Skin that feels calmer.
Less dry.
Less reactive.

Skin that simply feels like itself again.

Those messages are the real reason I keep doing what I do.

A Thank You

None of this would exist without you.

The women who trust me with their skin, send thoughtful messages, share their experiences, and quietly support a small independent brand that does things a little differently.

And it feels especially meaningful to be sharing this news on International Women’s Day.

So here’s to strong women supporting other women.
