Perfect

I love this cream it is so easy to use and the perfect moisturiser under my make up. I have dry skin so it is important to me that my skin feels comfortable and this feels exactly right.

The difference !

Rich and nourishing

I love the texture and smell. I only need a small amount, after the essence. It absorbs well and feels very nourishing. I have been using your products for about 4 weeks now, and my skin has vastly improved.

So far so good!

I have only been using the products for 4 days (hence the 4 stars) but so far find them to be soothing, not irritating and hydrating. I look forward to seeing how continued use improves my skin.

Good product

Gentle yet effective. Skin doesn’t feel tight. One thought it stains the muslin cloth , guess that’s the carrot in it - am I using too much if this happens

That's great to hear Angela - skin that feels right post cleansing is not a good sign. Regarding staining the muslin cloth, the plant oils and butters I use are organic and unrefined - so darker yellow/organge - for exmaple the Carrot oil, calendula c02 and can stain - but which makes for a Butter that the skin loves, instead of a Butter which is white but made with mineral oil or refined oils etc. I recommend a pack of cloths so you can use a clean one for each cleanse and bung them all in the laundry together on a hot wash which makes the process easier. The other thing you can do is to use a cotton type flannel cloth which you can get in many colours - see which your skin likes the most, for me I prefer the slightly rough feel of a muslin cloth. Best balm cleanser

The best cleanser I have ever come across . Glides smoothly over my face removing all traces of dirt and oil . Doesn’t strip the face oil leaving it dry but leaves the skin feeling moisturised and clean and not oily. Leaves the face looking radiant.

Nice exfoliating texture

I like the texture of this. The small grains are invigorating but not too abrasive. It is good for a deep but sensitive clean once a week.

Nourishing

I have started using a small amount after the rose cream in the mornings, and it absorbs well and my face feels nourished and I feel more confident!

Honestly, that is the best feedback we could get. Of course I love fiddling with the most beautiful butters and oils but what I really want for all my customers is comfortable skin and feeling more confident, and I am so glad ot is helping you! Olga x

Melts into the skin

I wanted to find a natural balm cleanser that I could wipe off for my irritable skin, and this seems to be it! My face feels cleansed but not dry after use. One question is how much the cleanser should be rubbed/massaged into the skin before wiping it off with the muslin cloth?

That's great to hear Katherine - I'm glad to hear that it's working well for your irritable skin and leaving your face feeling cleansed without being dry. To answer your question, I recommend gently massaging the cleanser into your skin for about at least 10-15 seconds before wiping it off with the muslin cloth. This will allow the product to fully melt into your skin and effectively remove any make-up residue from the day. For most of us, we are in a rush an tired at the end of the day, but if you have time , spending even a little longer gently massaging the Butter into the face, acts like a mini treatment and your skin with thank you for a little bit of extra care - but this is optional depending if you have a few extra moments. I love this

I am in my early 50s with dry but still oily and irritable skin. I have tried many products in the last few years, often using too many at a time, and my skin has constantly flared up to be irritable and red. This serum is lovely to really massage into your face. It stops any irritation, and I am hoping that my skin will continue to calm down and benefit from it over time.

The cleanser is beautiful but I found it slightly too greasy
