I've created The Rose Tree Method for you.
It doesn't involve 10 different steps, require a ton of products that all do pretty much the same thing anyway, or need 2 hours before you can get out of the door.
It's simple. It's fast. And it works.
My skincare is for real women.

The Rose Tree Skincare Method - Morning
Step 1 - Cleanse
Start with a gentle cleanse to set your skin up for the day.
My cult Carrot & Mango Cleansing Butter gets skin clean skin, without any of the tightness or stinging. And it's perfect for all skin types, and removing eye makeup.
Massage into dry skin gently, before removing with a muslin cloth wring though with hand hot water. Simple, fast and effective. More on the method and why it works here.
I like to splash my face with cold water before moving onto the next step.
If you are absolutely wedded to a wash off product, try our Apricot Geranium Cleansing Bar with organic almond and apricot oils. Combine it for convenience in the shower, it's gentle enough for use on the face but equally effective as a shower gel alternative. It is very gentle and won't strip your skin like many foaming type products.
Step 2 - Hydrate
Hydration Layer. This is all about feeding your skin, but with the right ingredients for you.
Pick your Facial Essence
For skin that is prone to oiliness, breakouts and rosacea, or just a little fiddly pick my Facial Essence for Rose & Marula.
Think super soft skin
Clear skin - with the hand selected essential oils which are inherently anti-bacterial and particularly suited to oily, combination skins.
Plumped up, cushiony, comfortable skin.
It helps keep breakouts under control.
It's perfect if you suffer from red-ness or rosacea.
For skin that is dry, dehydrated, or mature pick my Facial Essence with Rose & Blackcurrant.
It's all about feeding your skin, nourishment, and satiny plumped up skin with generous amounts of Argan, Blackcurrant, Baobab, Camellia and Cranberry oils but no heavy or greasy feeling.
Start with 2-3 drops and gently massage into your face and décolletage, with gentle, upward movements.
If you can spare a few extra moments, the action of gently massaging the skin gives it a rejuvenating and circulation boosting treatment.
It helps ease tension, and is going to help give your skin a natural glow.
Add extra drop by drop if you need.
You can stop here if you like, and move on to adding your SPF or makeup should you wish, or you can layer either face oil under your favourite moisturiser for extra hydration.
You tailor your oil to your needs.
If you're a make up user, blend it with your foundation for sheer, soft coverage.
Step 3 - Treat
Nurture, Plump, Treat
For some skins a facial oil may be sufficient.
But what if you need more hydration or a facial oil is not for you?
I've got some options for you.
If you prefer a cream textured product try my Radiance Cream with Rose & Frankincense. It’s a gentle and rich moisturiser, particularly suited to thirsty, parched skin and is exceptionally good in a cold climate.
Or my Intensive Balm with Marshmallow & Frangipani is a decadently scented (with essential oils only!) balm which is perfect to nourish and moisturise skin that needs a little TLC.
It has a rich but light texture, and is concentrated, so only the smallest amount is needed.
It's particular good to skin any skin problems, those pesky dry bits, itchy bits or breakouts of eczema.
Both can be used on their own or layered over your Facial Essence selection.
The Rose Tree Skincare Method - Evening
The Evening Method is similar to the Day Method
The difference is that you can take a few extra moments to pamper and de-stress before drifting off to sleep.
Step 1 - Cleanse
At the end of your day, use my Carrot & Mango Cleansing Butter to remove all residue and stresses from the day.
The very action of massaging the Butter into your tired skin, will help relax your facial muscles as well as removing makeup and dirt.
If I've been wearing waterproof eye make up I like to cleanse around my eyes first, returning to my eyes so I don't spread makeup and smudged mascara all over my face.
If you're a fan of a double cleanse, finish off with my Apricot & Geranium Cleansing Bar.
There's no right or wrong way, this is about what works for you and what your skin likes.
Step 2 - Hydration Layer
While you drift off to sleep your skin is about to go into overdrive, working hard to restore and rebuild. More of that here. That means feeding your skin is important.
Start with your Facial Essence selection taking the time to gently massage the oil in your face and décolletage, using gentle upward movements.
You don't need to spend 20 minutes doing this - 20 seconds will work, and your skin will thank you. And it is stress busting and will help you sleep better.
Step 3 - Nurture, Plump, Treat
You might be OK to leave it there, especially if your skin is oily. Oily skin may feel like a curse but really you’re lucky - it means less lines and wrinkles compared to those of us with dry, thirsty skin.
For most of us, especially as we get older the more hydration the better.
Both are good and will stop you waking up with dry, tight papery skin. Plus you get the benefits of those lovely essential oils which can help sooth a tired mind before drifting off to sleep.
Or go the whole hog, and apply my new and shiny Pomegranate & Rose Mask. It is the perfect overnight dry skin saviour. Apply and head off to bed! Come the morning, super soft, comfortable skin!
Skincare for your Eyes
Finishing with an eye treatment. My Rejuvenating Eye Serum with Rose & Starflower, is particularly good for those annoying fine lines, or if your eyes get dry and itchy.
It's an oil based serum with organic rosehip oil and arnica oil which helps with any puffiness.
You only the tiniest amount, literally a drop off the end of the pipette which I apply with my ring finger.

Sleep Better at Night Naturally
A good night's sleep makes all the difference. That feeling you get when you're ready to take on the world. Versus feeling like a person you don't recognise swinging between tears and overwhelm.
There's no magic bullet, but these help me and could help you too.
I like to bathe swathed in beautifully scented warm water if humanly possible. It's my personal signal that I am done with the day and ready to switch off.
