We have found that yes, a face oil can create a visible transformation in the skin's appearance by adding essential hydration and promoting a plumper, more radiant look. Most of our customers are thrilled with the difference adding a well formulated face oil into their routine makes. Dry or dehydrated skin often appears dull and lacks elasticity, while well-nourished skin appears smoother, firmer, and more youthful. High-quality face oils lock in moisture and nutrients that strengthen the skin’s barrier, helping to soften fine lines and give a natural glow and increase skin softness.

This is a common fear. Not all oils clog pores, but some can. We focus on high-quality, organic oils, often less common plant oils, known for their nourishing and non-comedogenic properties, so you get hydration without clogged pores, and therefore breakouts. The quality of ingredients is crucial; organic, plant-based oils are specifically chosen to balance the skin’s natural oil production. We like plant oils that offer unique benefits to the skin without blocking pores. These include jojoba, raspberry, blackcurrant, marula and rosehip. Some oils like hazelnut even have a slightly astringent quality to them effectively balancing skin prone to breakouts.

Pure plant oils in simple, natural formulations can be very gentle on sensitive skin in contrast to serums with complex, synthetic ingredients, pure plant oils work in harmony with the skin's natural balance. Oils like rosehip and jojoba are renowned for their soothing, gentle effects on the skin, providing hydration and calming without the risk of irritation often associated with artificial additives.

Almost all of my customers suffer with sensitive skin to some degree and most do very well using products that contain plant and essential oils.

That said if you know you are sensitive to specific essential oils you should avoid them.  The other caveat is that with sensitive skin and any new product or ingredient, it makes sense to do a patch test and see if your skin reacts.

My personal experience is that for 99% of my sensitive skin customers, they do very well with our face oils.

All professional skin care formulators will use plant and essential oils extremely carefully - abiding by dermal limits for each essential oil.  Not to mention that the UK has some of the most stringent legislation relating to safe limits for all ingredients, natural or otherwise and a verification process before any product is placed on the UK market.
