Make Like Cleopatra...

There are baths and there are baths.  For a touch of luxury and super soft, scented skin, you can't beat a few drops of your favourite flower oil in a warm bath.  You get the amazing sensory sensory experience that only essential oils can give, the natural aromas create an experience that can help you relax, de-stress and recharge - and can give send you off for a great night's sleep, if that's what needed.  Choose your botanicals carefully and you can even detox, and benefit from a slimming effect.


Cleopatra apparently travelled with a couple of asses her with her at all times - a girl never knows when you'll need a donkey after all for that all important milk and honey bath.  A step too far for most of us, (the asses anyway) but a milk bath is great for your skin.  The lactic acid found naturally in milk is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and will have a gently exfoliating effect on the skin, and the fat and vitamins will benefit your skin also.

An indulgent bath is the perfect way to treat yourself at home  - and is super easy.  Run the bath with the door and any windows shut, so you get to keep in the therapeutic and fab smelling flower oils.  Try 5-6 drops in the bath as a starting point.  

Tailor the scent to what you love - lavender for a beautifully relaxing soak, ylang ylang and jasmine for a touch of the exotic, or grapefruit or juniper for a revitalising treatment.  Add in a pint of milk or a scoop of dried milk powder and a 1-2 tbsp of honey and you will come out with delectably soft skin.  And if you prefer to opt for a ready made potion, try one of our organic bath oils, either relaxing or revitalising.

Don't be tempted to have the water temperature too hot, you want to avoid dehydrating and any broken veins, 15-20 mins to soak should be perfect.  And finish by wrapping yourself up in some warm towels and reclining like Cleopatra herself to relax for 15 minutes.  Your body will thank you!
