So it's still January, quite a bit grey and wet.
Very wet here in Devon, and most of the rest of the country based on yesterday's weather forecast.
The magic of Christmas is all packed back up in the loft, and suddenly it all feels a bit flat.
I say this not to send you into a spiral of despair - but the opposite.
It's easy to feel despondent amongst the grey.
There are always reasons we can each find to feel down. I'm sitting here hyperventilating about the state of the economy and chastising myself for betting everything on my tiny business as we wallow in a recession.
But of course that is rubbish, because none of us have a crystal ball and there is never a perfect time.
It's easy to let these negative thoughts take root.
So I have been working on my mindset - every time one of these negative jostles for space in my head, I am practicing kicking it out (Kung Fu panda style after watching this over Christmas in case you wanted that mental picture in your head) and replacing it with something more positive.
And there is so much to look forward to.
The rain brings us closer to longer days and spring. Bright, happy daffodils and fragrant narcissi.

The return of Doctor Who (OK could just be me here) and who will be the new James Bond, could it be a woman?
I watched some of the footage from the Golden Globes this week (the dresses!) and it did not go unnoticed that 3 winners were women over 60! Progress indeed. Michelle Yeoh, 60. Jennifer Coolidge, 61 and Angela Bassett, 64.
And for real upbeat, watch Yeoh's award speech here - 4 minutes on 40 years of resilience

And closer to home, together we have done some great things through our partnership with Buy1 Give1 - your support makes a real, tangible difference out there in the world.
More on that soon, I am still totting up the numbers for last year.
So this coming week I am hanging on to positive thoughts, I am prioritising myself, and am going to continue to push forward, and if I may be so bold, I encourage you to do the same.
Whatever makes you smile - or whoever makes you smile.
And I promised you a gift.
I have found that for me personally, I have been relying heavily on my Calming aromatherapy blend. It's not magic (though read the science-ey bit here), but the fragrant oil, hand made with luxurious Rose oil, uplifting Palmarosa, sweet smelling Geranium and a hint of Patchouli help keep me calm and positive.
And it seems rude to keep that all to myself.
1 - Grab anything else from my store over £40, add it to your basket as usual
2 - Add my Calming Roller Ball to your basket.
3 - Use the code 'POSITIVE' to get it for free.
It's on me - it usually sells at £17.
Keep smiling, and I would love to know what you are looking forward to - leave me a comment below.
The idea behind The Rose Tree is grown up beauty. Less about looking 10 years younger and more about feeling amazing. The best ingredients for the job, not the cheapest. The finest natural and organic plant oils and butters, selected for their effectiveness.
I am all about being small, because small means personal, and comes with great service. I want finding beauty that works to be easy. I am passionate about manufacturing in Britain, sourcing ingredients ethically and being able to give a little back to the world.
My customers tend to be in the 40s, 50s, and upwards - and are juggling busy lives with and adapting to their skin's changing needs, perimenopause, menopause and beyond.
I'm all about ignoring the rules, must have products, must have ingredients, it's exhausting. Let's ditch this idea that you need tens of products and a 10 step skincare routine.
Simplicity is good.
The Independent
"As if it wasn't bad enough that the menopause and lack of oestrogen has dried my skin to the point of reptilian , I was horrified to keep having outbreaks of spots too - talk about insult to injury . Was sceptical that an oil would help - but on a friend's recommendation tried this oil and it clears any outbreaks overnight! Amazing!" Justine
"I have tried many other products - top of the line products - none of which accommodated the change to my maturing skin. How I wish I'd found The Rose Tree products years ago. My skin looks and feels wonderfully nourished." - Kara Joy
"I I love using the Radiance Facial Essence, it makes my skin feel fabulous. I have been using this for a number of years now and would definitely recommend it." Laura
I care about making my products safe and healthy for you—and our planet. I package the majority of products in glass. I am extremely picky about my ingredients. We never test our products on animals.
I also partner up with Buy1Give1 (B1G1), a social enterprise and non-profit organisation with a mission to create a world full of giving. Unlike conventional giving models, B1G1 helps small and medium-sized businesses achieve more social impact by embedding giving activities into everyday business operations and creating unique giving stories.
That means, with your help, we can make a small but positive difference.
